Since 2020, Mayana has grown from a single hospital in Parklands into a network of 31 hospitals and clinics across the country.

Mayana Group of Hospitals Limited was founded in 2020 with a simple belief: good healthcare should not depend on where you live or how much you earn. We opened our first hospital on 3rd Parklands Avenue at a time when the country needed every hospital bed it could get.
Today we operate 13 hospitals and 18 community clinics, from Mombasa to Kakamega. Every Mayana hospital offers inpatient care, 24-hour emergency services, laboratory, imaging and pharmacy, while our clinics bring outpatient care and consultations closer to home.
We accept the national health insurance scheme and major private insurers, and we publish our prices so patients know what to expect.

Milestones
2020
Mayana Parklands Hospital opens its doors in Nairobi, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
2021
First clinics open in Westlands, Kasarani and Ruiru. 24-hour casualty launched at Parklands.
2022
Hospitals open in Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru, taking Mayana beyond Nairobi.
2023
Accredited by the national health insurer. Maternity and newborn units added in six hospitals.
2024
CT scan suites installed in Nairobi, Mombasa and Eldoret. Telehealth consultations introduced.
2025
Network reaches 13 hospitals and 18 clinics in 23 counties.
